Conference dinner
The conference dinner takes place at the ICC on Monday 12 October, beginning with a drinks reception from 19.15. Dress code for the evening is smart or smart-casual and a cash bar will be available. This is a free seating event.
CPD accreditation
Solicitors and barristers attending the conference can earn bonus credits towards their continuing professional development (CPD) as the conference is certified to count towards both the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board CPD schemes. This year the amount of credit available at the conference totals 10.25 hours for Solicitors and 10 hours for Barristers.
To claim credits, delegates who are barristers need to register their attendance at the Enquiries desk and Solicitors need to quote CYA/SBFE. We would also like to remind all delegates to update their personal training records.
Conference newsletter
This year we will publish two editions of the conference newsletter available on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October.
Networking and contacting other delegates
A designated area set aside to assist networking among delegates will be situated in the registration area. It will be open from 13.00 on Monday 12 October, and then will remain open for the duration of the conference. In this area there will also be a designated meeting point, along with a poster listing all conference delegates and a message board.
Fringe events
Fringe events take place on Monday 12 October at 18.15, following the close of main conference sessions and before the evening drinks reception. To find out more, visit our fringe events page.
